This website is all about slot cars in general and slot rallying in particular. I quite like diddling with HTML but I'm far from a webpage designer. The slot car stuff in all its facets (collecting, racing, buying, selling, breaking and fixing) is just a hobby when time permits. I'm also a member of a slot club here in Sabadell, Barcelona (RCT Vallès) so I contribute to the building and decorating of tracks as well as helping to run the club's events.

I have round about 500 models in total in my collection and that includes a fairly mixed bunch. The oldest model I possess is probably a C55 Vanwall which dates from the early 1960s (so nearly as old as me!) There are four models which I am particularly keen on: the Porsche 356 Speedster/Coupe and the Jaguar XK120 (Ninco), the Porsche 911/934 range (also by Ninco) and, finally, the Scalextric/SCX Ford Escorts. Getting the 'safari' bug! Two recent additions: Audi Quattro (Revell) and a Toyota Celica (Team Slot). I needed to replace the Audi's chassis in favour of a Ninco 911 and the Celica just needed a better crown and decent hubs/tyres.....

This is a hobby website maintained by me on a kind of 'rainy-day' basis: too much time spent tinkering with the models to be able to set up a truly gobsmacking site, but there you go. HOMETRACK: a small compact track using the SCX Chrono Rally Pack - one lap has a total length of about 12 metres, all squashed into 60cm x 240cm!! The fastest lap (5.38 secs) belongs to a Scalextric Porsche Boxster but without removing the magnet. Here are some other non-magnet lap records.

In 2001 we started comissioning models to commemmorate our rally championships. About 70 models are ordered and then tampographed with the club's logo each year. They are intended for the winners and collaborators but I'm sure one or two find their way into the hands of collectors. The 2011 model is a standard Ninco 911 with a personalised rear window.
